Risk assessment: Free app
In 2023 we created two animated explainer videos to explain and promote the Pebbls app (A travel tracker app that allows you to map your journeys, share your stories, and connect with explorers worldwide).
The Pebbls team are working on another app, this one simplifies and automates the process of creating of risk assessments. Users will be able to create professional risk-benefit assessment PDFs with the free, easy to use tool, designed for individuals and teams of all sizes. Risk assessments are something that, as a teacher, my wife has to deal with regularly and they’re a pain in the backside. Risk Assessment Wizard makes it easy and it’s free (what more could you ask for?).
In the last two animations, we used a storytelling approach with characters and scenery, which suited the travel app. However, for their risk assessment app, a more informative, motion graphics style was a better fit. We used 2D animated elements together with text animation and various pops, loops and textures to help emphasise certain points.
