A savage journey...
Footage based book trailer
A book trailer (animated or video footage) is a powerful marketing tool that brings a story to life through visuals, sound, and emotion, capturing the essence of a book in a compelling and engaging way. By offering a cinematic glimpse into the plot, characters, and tone, it can quickly hook potential readers who might not be drawn in by text alone. These trailers are easily shareable across social media and websites, expanding reach and visibility far beyond traditional promotional methods. Additionally, a well-crafted book trailer can generate buzz, spark curiosity, and create a memorable first impression that encourages viewers to pick up the book and dive in.
One of my favourite books, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson is a wild, drug-fuelled journey through the American West, blending journalism, fiction, and hallucination into a chaotic exploration of the American Dream. Following journalist Raoul Duke and his attorney Doctor Gonzo as they descend into the surreal landscape of 1970s Las Vegas, the book is a sharp, satirical critique of consumerism, excess, and disillusionment. With its vivid prose and Ralph Steadman’s iconic illustrations, it remains a cornerstone of Gonzo journalism and a cult classic in modern American literature.

“No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride…and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than what you had in mind, well…maybe chalk it up to forced consciousness expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.”

“I’m the one who does most of the production work, designing, animating and rendering. I’m a husband to an awesome wife and father to two amazingly mad boys. I work from my home office in a house full of books, musical instruments and Lego with a noisy black cat named Jake.”
