Every couple of years, E4 run a competition where creatives can submit a 10 second esting (channel ident). Our entry for the 2015 contest, seen at the top of this post, started out as a random office whiteboard doodle.
Then I created a character and decided to go with it for our next esting submission. A variation of it ended up in the final version.

Today, we entered the finished esting into the competition. If we win or are ranked within the top 16, the ident will run on television later this year.
