This is a side project that’s been floating around in my head for a few months. The ridiculous idea that somehow, not hiring us could cost you your life tickled me… I may well have a few more of these shorts up my sleeve, although, the next side project will be about the history of shaving (see embedded instagram post).
Originally, I was going to animate a more gory ending for Phil (well, he was still to be squished by his stock but I was going to show a humongous pool of blood flowing out from underneath) but it seemed in bad taste and it turned out to be funnier to just show the grave.
The voice-over, in case you fancy hiring him, is Bob Taylor. He’s great for crazy scripts and character work.
