I originally approached Ze with the idea of animating an episode of ‘a show’ in a similar fashion to ‘The Ricky Gervais Show‘ but Ze came back with the idea of animating viewers dreams and allowing me to interpret them as I see fit and to have full creative freedom (the ideal client!).
My aim is to produce around 50 dreams in total but I might continue after that considering the fact that I love making them. People dream constantly, so if viewers are happy to continue sending me their dreams, I imagine I’ll be happy to continue animating them…perhaps even after ‘a show’ finishes up.
If you’re thinking of submitting a dream, use the ‘Missions’ page and keep it to approximately 20-25 seconds in length. I tend to ignore the recordings that sound more like rehearsed voice-over auditions and go for the more conversational ones. I also urge you not to fabricate them…I want your real dreams, it’s just a random story otherwise.
